The Seven True Gods And The Creation Of The Universe

Eons ago, before the passage of time began in Alvena, there were seven powers from beyond the veil of the cosmos. Men and women from a distant world beyond the scope of time and distance as modern mortals understand it. They lived in a world that was ruined by a great cataclysm; which was to mean the collapse of their very plane of existence. With no hope of overcoming the hurdles facing their home-world, they fled…

These near-godlike mortals were known then as the seven heroes.

They fled to the Astral Plane, seeking refuge in the endless seas of aether and dreams. With no world to call their own the heroes traveled the endless reaches of the planes, learning and growing in power; passing cities that seemed like worlds, and traveling beyond the stars themselves. Each of them outlived any mortal that would have shared their home world with them, and yet they had nothing to show for it other than more and more power. That was when Akaia halted their exodus and proposed a dream she had while wandering the astral expanses…

"We are as gods" Akaia said, "And possess the power to create our own home; a world to replace the one we lost…a better world; where we will not have to wander endlessly."

And so they did. The seven had gained so much power in their travels through the planes that they had become something more. Something ageless, endless, and everlasting. So they combined their power and gave birth to Alvena's Genesis; creating the world they would call home. For the first time in ages, they were home.

They used their magic to begin creating plans, animals, and shaping the world as they saw fit. They continually expanded their new world and forged a mighty keeper at the heart of the universe who would continue Alvena's expansion for millions of years if needed. The world was born, and it was growing - continuously, and steadily. The seven gods walked upon their green world of paradise, and they saw that it was good…
