Spell Changes

The following are changes to spells from the core rules.


Core Spell Changes

  • Conjuration (Healing) Spells
    • Stabilize is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Cure light wounds and mass cure light wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Cure moderate wounds and mass cure moderate wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Cure serious wounds and mass cure serious wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Cure critical wounds and mass cure critical wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Heal and mass heal are now Necromancy (channeling) spellls with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Heal mount is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Remove paralysis is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Remove disease is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Remove blindness/deafness is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Restoration, lesser restoration, and greater restoration are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Delay poison and neutralize poison are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Raise dead, resurrection, and true resurrection are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Regenerate is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Positive] descriptor.
  • Necromancy Spells
    • Inflict light wounds and mass inflict light wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Inflict moderate wounds and mass moderate light wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Inflict serious wounds and mass inflict serious wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Inflict critical wounds and mass inflict critical wounds are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Harm and mass harm are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Animate dead is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Create undead and create greater undead are now Necromancy (channeling) spells with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Bleed is now a Necromancy (channeling) spell with the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Disrupt undead gains the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Touch of fatigue gains the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Chill touch gains the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Ray of enfeeblement gains the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Ghoul touch gains the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Ray of exhaustion, waves of fatigue, and waves of exhaustion gain the [Negative] descriptor.
    • Enervation and energy drain gains the [Negative] descriptor.
  • Evocation Spells
    • Hallow gains the [Positive] descriptor.
    • Unhallow gains the [Negative] descriptor.
  • Transmutation Spells
    • Haste is a Transmutation (time) spell with the [Haste] descriptor.
    • Time stop is a Transmutation (time) spell with the [Haste] descriptor.
    • Slow is a Transmutation (time) spell with the [Slow] descriptor.
